So it has taken me way too long.  Things in my life are quite a bit different from when I first joined this site, and I know I haven't been too active lately.  I still try to check the site every day, read every comment (try to respond to most), and check out the litereally hundreds of submissions from the many deviants I watch.  I was amazed at the Daily Deviation that happened with my "soup." picture, and I'ms still getting tons of favourites from that months later (thanks guys!).  I guess this is just my long-winded way of saying I was never really GONE, just... idle.

however...

I'm planning on getting back into the dA universe in full swing.  I've taken tons of pictures since I've last posted, but there are two sets that I've got to post up here.  First are a series of shots I took at the Toronto Zoo.  I loved snapping shots there, and I picked up a membership, so I'm planning on going back again in the future.

The second set I have was from the big event of my summer.  My good photographer friend ~Humber and I went on a trip to Ottawa for 3 days of photographing the beautiful city.  While we were there, we managed to pick up a pair of 28mm primes (for 30$ at a pawn shop!), and I had a total blast shooting with the old manual lens.  On the way back, we dipped into Kingston and got some nice harbour shots in the beautiful sun.  The trip totally rocked, and I owe a big thanks to Josh for inviting me to go.

Now, I have a lot of pictures to post, and I dont really want to dump them all on at once.  I plan on posting a couple a day.  I hope you enjoy.
